Mohammad Safdar's story:

Mohammad wants to become a Chartered Accountant. He is looking forward to explore his academic knowledge in a professional environment. As farmers, his parents cannot afford the fees to keep their son in school on their own. He is doing very well in school and is also a very good player of netball and captain of the junior netball team.

About the School

Tameer-e-Millat School & College Shinkiari was established in March 2002. The school has been duly upgraded up to SSC (Secondary School Certificate) level and recognized by the board of intermediate and secondary education, Abbotabad.  The Earthquake of October 8, 2005 resulted in massive destruction of the school building, in lieu of which, educational activities were badly hindered. The Maria Helena Foundation (based in Canada) provided financial assistance for the reconstruction of the school building.
