About EdGen

What is Education Generation?

Education Generation is a global community providing access to quality education for high potential students. We search the globe for innovative educational programs to connect donors and students. Through our online platform, individuals from around the world make contributions as low as $20 to collectively support individual students. 100% of your money (after paypal fees) supports their studies.

How We Work

We partner with high caliber institutions and community organizations to manage scholarships and student relationships on the ground. These organizations are deeply rooted in the communities they work in. They emphasize leadership development, entrepreneurial skills and market relevant training, and are working to influence their education system as a whole.

We support merit based scholarship programs and we see it as our responsibility to portray students as the high potential youth and future leaders that they are. We do this by showcasing their goals, achievements, and aspirations for their communities.

Why We Do It

We believe that education is an investment in people, communities and future local economies.

We know our personal success, curiosity and values were shaped by educational opportunities received in and outside of the classroom. We want to create similar opportunities for all young people.

We see that scholarship programs are key to providing access to education to students in developed countries, and we recognize the potential to extend this opportunity much further.
